How To Be Saved

How would you like for every evil deed you’ve done to be erased? Well this can happen. In the Book of Philippians in the Bible in chapter 3 and verse 13, it says that once you accept Jesus Christ your mind is renewed to forget the past and reach to the future. Once you accept Jesus Christ you are a new creature (or in some translations a new creation) says II Corinthians 2:12. God will connect us to a new way of life. II Corinthians 2:14 gives us reason to rejoice in Jesus Christ.

The way will not be easy. II Corinthians 4:8-13 says “We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed; Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body. For we which live are alway * * delivered unto death for Jesus’ sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh. So then death worketh in us, but life in you. We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak

But you can rejoice in yourself. Be encouraged and rejoice using verse 14, which says: Knowing that he which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus, and shall present us with you.How do you become a new creature? By accepting the Jesus Christ of the Bible as your Lord, Your God, and Your Savior. Romans 10:9-10 says That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Now you have heard the Word of God in your heart. Romans 10:17 says “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” In closing, Galatians 2:16 says “Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no * * flesh be justified.” So now, go exercise your measure of faith.

Faith in who? Jesus Christ, Yeshua HaMashiach, the Word of God who is also God according to John 1:1 that became flesh and died on the cross so that your sins could be washed away with His Blood. This same Christ was raised from the dead and now sits on the right hand of God the Father, and we await His return. Joel 2:32, repeated in Acts 2:21 and Romans 10:13 says whosover calls upon the Name of Jesus Christ shall be saved, and this Old Testament prophecy has now been fulfilled in your heart and in your spirit. Salvation is now yours, and if you faithfully keep these things, you will be God’s and God will be yours forevermore. So please, follow The Three Step Salvation Plan right now!

I found your page by chance on google. Looks like good gospel preaching to me! Do you have any other pages or church? Are you an ordained minister, ect? Jeff

  2. Jeff:

I have several other pages: http://healtheland.bravehost.com is the main one (though I have been neglecting it recently), http://healtheland.wordpress.com is another, http://healthelanddevotionalarchives.wordpress.com is a third, and http://healthelandgeneraldocuments.wordpress.com is a fourth. I am not an ordained minister (yet, am beginning my studies though) and me and my family have church at home. I started all this about two years ago with http://healtheland.bravehost.com because though I wanted to be a Christian and saved, I had a lot of doubts. Not wanting to spend eternity in the lake of fire, I decided the way to address my doubts was to “work out my own salvation” by writing about them. After about 18 months of Bible study and writing and research, all of my doubts were gone. But keeping track of my old writings, making them easily accessible, was getting to be quite difficult and time consuming. So, I created these weblogs to make my document storage and retrieval easier. So, looks like you have found the ruminations of a man who was seeking the Lord!

When and where do you have fellowship with other Christians? When do you have an opportunity to share with others what you have learned, face to face. I do appreciate your sharing it here for anyone to access. I’m always looking for good articles to use in my own Bible study and spiritual growth.
